Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center in Wan Chai Golden Bauhinia Square outside the new wing (also known as "The Expo Promenade"), stands the "Forever Blooming Bauhinia" sculpture and the Reunification Monument.
The main ceremonies took place on the night of 30 June 1997. Other gifts to commemorate the historic occasion were sent by each of China's provinces, autonomous regions and other territories.
Near the Golden Bauhinia stands the Reunification Monument bearing inscriptions of President Jiang Zemin's calligraphy.Gold Bauhinia sculpture as well as next to the "monument" are visitors pictures of hot spots.
